Origami skort, asymmetrical hemlines, envelope skirts, or whatever you want to call them are a huge trend for summer. I finally found one for myself (from Francesca's) and I am in love with it! I am not a huge "short shorts" person, which can be annoying in the hot summer months. Despite the short length of most envelope skirts, mine included, they are different than the typical tight, short shorts. The asymmetrical hemline helps cover a little more, and helps elongate the legs. Also the material is looser. Envelope skirts can be paired with many tops, creating dressy and casual outfits.
